Rajya Sabha MPs of Jharkhand
The Rajya Sabha is the upper house of the Indian Parliament, known as the “Council of States.” In Jharkhand state, three members are elected to the Rajya Sabha. However, these members are indirectly elected by the state legislators of Jharkhand. The allocation of seats to each party is based on the number of seats they hold during the nomination process, and the party then nominates a member to be voted on. Elections within the state legislatures of Jharkhand use the Single Transferable Vote system with proportional representation.
