Abdul Momen said that the ‘Swadhinata Sarak’(Independence Road) between Bangladesh and India will be opened on 26 March,2021. The road which is functional on Indian side will be connected through Mujibnagar, Meherpur district in Bangladesh.

13 passengers were lifted from Kargil (Ladakh) to Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) and 14 from Srinagar to Kargil. The service will ease the issue of transportation during the winter season.The fare of this helicopter service is Rs 9,000 per passenger
