DBS Bank India partners with Haqdarshak, to aid MSME recovery from Covid-19 pandemic.
DBS Bank India has collaborated with Haqdarshak to assist Indian MSME via Haqdarshak’s new platform which provides access to MSME-focused government-assisted schemes across the country. A grant of INR 2.7 mn enabled Haqdarshak to build this platform.

India, Iran & Uzbekistan discussed the joint use of Chabahar port for trade and transit purposes and enhanced regional connectivity. India’s proposal to hold Chabahar Day on the sidelines of the International Maritime Summit was welcomed.

Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research(NIBIO) signs MoU with cGanga for development of sludge management framework in India.
At the 5th India Water Impact Summit, NIBIO signed an MoU for development of sludge management framework in India with cGanga(think-tank of NMCG). It will help improve India’s water management by adopting best practises of Norway.

Tamil Nadu government signed 18 MoUs worth Rs 19,955 crore with an employment potential of 26,509 people.
MoUs were signed with Crown Group Of Companies,Society for Smart Electric Mobility,Voltas, Mylan Torrent Gas, First Solar, Ola Electric, Mahindra CIE etc. The cumulative investment is about Rs 24,458 crore from about 24 projects.

Reddit acquires short-form video social platform Dubsmash and enters the short video market.
Reddit acquired Dubsmash and under the deal,Dubsmash will continue to exist as a separate platform and brand, but its “innovative video creation tools” will be integrated into Reddit. In Jan, 2020 dubsmash crossed 1 billion video views per month.

Foundation Stones to be laid for Mega Desalination Plant of 10 crore litre per day (100 MLD)capacity at Mandvi in Kutch,Gujarat.
The Desalination Plant at Mandvi will have a capacity of 100 MLD. It will complement the Narmada Grid, Sauni network & treatment of waste water. Water will be provided to approx. 8 lakh people in the regions of Abdasa, Mundra, Lakhpat & Nakhatrana talukas.

Gujarat’s Kutch to Get India’s Largest Renewable Energy Park with a generation capacity of 30 gigawatts Generation Park.
The foundation stone of Hybrid Renewable Energy Park near Vighakot village in Gujarat’s Kutch district is to be laid. It will be spread over 72,600 hectares with a generation capacity of 30 GW & will have zones for wind and solar energy storage.
