Srinagar’s Amar Singh College conservation project recognised with UNESCO award.

Srinagar based Amar Singh College’s building, built nearly 80 years ago, is one of the seven conservation projects to be recognised with ‘2020 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation’. It was recognised with the ‘Award of Merit’.

5 states complete reforms in ease of doing business; eligible for Rs 16,728 cr. extra borrowing

PMC Bank restrictions extended by 3 more months; RBI says bank needs more time for reconstruction

Stating the need to examine proposals received for the Expression of Interest (EoI) from investors, RBI extended restrictions on PMC period from December 23, 2020 to March 31, 2021.PMC bank was placed under restrictions from 23 September 2019.

Reserve Bank of India extended KYC to legal entities(LEs) on the Central KYC Registry(CKYCR).

Regulated entities should upload KYC data pertaining to accounts of LEs opened on or after April 1, 2021 on CKYCR.Data pertaining to all individual accounts opened on or after January 1, 2017 are already uploaded. KYC is required by rule 9 of PML rules.

KKR’s IndiGrid has acquired Indian solar portfolio of Madrid-based Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV); deal worth Rs 660 crore.

IndiGrid has fully acquired FRV Andhra Pradesh Solar Farm-I & FRV India Solar Park II – from FRV Solar Holdings for Rs.660 crore. IndiGrid is an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) backed by KKR, an equity firm.
