According to the notice, 12th passed candidates are eligible to apply for Punjab Constable Posts. The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 28 years. Candidates who will apply successfully for the posts will be called for written test. Those who qualify in the written test will appear for Physical Screening Test. The screening will be qualifying in nature.

Eligibility, educational qualification for Punjab Police Recruitment 2021:

• Candidates will need to be Class 12th passed from a recognised board or university.
• In case of ex-servicemen, candidates only need to be class 10th passed.
• Candidates must have passed the Matriculation exam (Class 10) with Punjabi or any other equivalent exam in the Punjabi language which may be specified by the Punjab government from time to time.

Age limit for Punjab Police Recruitment 2021:

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules

Physical Standards

For being eligible for the post of Constable in District Police Cadre and Armed Police Cadre, minimum height required for male candidates is 5 feet 7 inches and for female candidates is 5 feet 2 inches.

The first stage of the selection process shall be the OMR based offline Test comprising of one question paper which shall consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The Question Paper shall comprise 100 questions carrying one (01) mark each and shall be bilingual viz. in Punjabi and English.There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answer
