IAHE signs pact with University of New South Wales for setting up centre of excellence

The Indian Academy of Highway Engineers (IAHE), under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MORTH), has signed an Agreement with University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia for setting up a Centre for Advanced Transportation Technology and Systems (CATTS) at IAHE, Noida.

India, Sri Lanka and Maldives Hold Joint Exercise TTX-2021 On Maritime Security

Manduadih railway station renamed as Banaras


The Manduadih railway station has been finally renamed as Banaras by the North eastern railways (NER). The newly painted signboards were put up with Banaras written in Hindi, Sanskrit, English, and Urdu.The code for the station with the new identity will now be ‘BSBS’

Delhi govt partners with Google to provide real-time bus tracking service


The partnership aims to launch a system that will enable commuters to access real-time information about buses, such as the arrival and departure times, and their routes. Users will get an estimation of how long their trip is going to take, and if their bus is delayed. Google Transit will automatically update the times in line with the new conditions.

Bank of Maharashtra signs MoU with NABARD


The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will boost ongoing developmental initiatives linked to priority sector lending in Maharashtra. US Navy hands over first two MH-60R multirole helicopters to India


The Indian Navy is procuring 24 of these helicopters manufactured by Lockheed Martin under foreign military sales from the US government at an estimated cost of USD2.4 billion. The MH-60R helicopter is an all-weather helicopter designed to support multiple missions with state-of-the-art avionics.

NCGTC issues guidelines for Rs 50,000-cr scheme for medical infra
